Oil Catch cans

Hello everyone,
So I wanna install an oil catch can.........the problem now lies in which one. I have read the installs of the few people who have installed the Provent 200 and it seems effective. What I don't like is the 80 filter....I have also seen some diy catch cans online out of water bottles or even buying the 20 ebay special(all chrome I might add) open it up and installing come copper pipe and a rung of steel wool. The worry I have with the diy is if I route that back into my intake what is the possibility of the steel wool breaking down and going into my intake.
