Hello From Red Deer

G'day All...
I'm Shane from Red Deer Alberta.
Rover (named by my daughter... she said the Delica looks like a moonrover)
92 Exceed
My Father moved to Nelson B.C two years ago and I kept seeing these great looking vans. I started watching for one and purchased 'Rover' a week ago... My faithful local mechanic thinks I'm crazy...lol But he is willing to work on it and try and find parts.
Was hoping to find a winter model. Plan on doing a lot of sno boarding and flyfishing... Heading back to Nelson on July 5-8th for some fly fishing.
Thankful for this forum and all they guys who have put work into lists and advice for us newbies!
Cheers,
Shane

Welcome! I am just up the road in Leduc so if you ever need a hand or want to show off your rig just give me a shout. ALWAYS happy to meet other Deli owners.

I don't mean to high jack the thread, but Big Bird- if you are ever in these northern parts make sure to stop in for a beer. I want to see all these mods first hand and not through pictures

Starting to become a bit of a bigger Deli-Base here in Alberta. Nice to see.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I spend a lot of time in Calgary... But I'm sure willing to head North for a beer and chit-chat!
Any Alberta Mini-Meets or anything like that coming up. Still trying to navigate my way around in here.
Could also use a link for something to the fuse box layout... lol
Cheers!

A little tip for owning any Delica is to not be afraid to ask our brothers and sisters accross the pond and down under. Wealth of knowledge there too! Not that we aren't the best, but other solutions are good too

Welcome to Delica Canada, Shane
Be sure to check out "L300 Dedicated Category Reference Forum" in Delica Canada Technical. There are a number of useful manuals in there, including the fuse box layout.
Also in the "Delica FAQ Section" there is a thread called "Useful Links for Vehicle Part Identification Purposes", in here is a link to a JDM Online Catalogue that can give you all the stock OEM part numbers to your Delica by entering Rover's VIN in the Mitsubishi field.
