The motor won't turn long before the fuse under the hood blows. Anyone got a wiring schematic for the L400 Rear heater and Air-Cond system?
Would like to have both A/C systems with temps hitting over 30.

Have you checked the L400 manuals? In the "L400 Dedicated Category Reference Forum". Could also be low on the R134a.
Falco.

Can't find the link, but on the UK site there is a photo set of some guy cleaning a ton of ancient aggregated mud out of his A/C equipment (the condenser circuit in the back was particularly clogged up). If your motors/etc. are severely gummed up that might something to think about.

Well found the problem tonight and to my surprise it wasn't the rear unit that was the problem. It was one of the front evaporator fans....had to pull the entire nose off to get at it. Did discover that the front A/C system will operate with only one evap fan connected...the growling noise I was hearing was the fan as well. Now I need to find a compatable replacement from a wrecked Dodge Colt or other mitsubishi.
