Just saw one climbing up Mariner Way, Coquitlam, BC. Fun to see. It had roof lights and what seemed like a utility trailer (probably for camping/hunting stuff). A bit early for hunting.

Might be Aciled. Was it black/grey? He lives in Coquitlam. So do I but not my rig. No roof lights or trailer for me.

Perhaps it's The Lazy Green Fox. Did the Space Gear have a hood scoop (TLGF's is a gasser, so no scoop)?

Didn't catch that. I'm new to the forum as I'm planning to get one. Is L400 diesel? What's the gasser called? Also, what is 4M40?
thx.

The L400 is a model number, also known as the Space Gear. The Space Gear comes with different motor options, usually diesel sometimes a gasser. The "4M40" is a motor designation, for a 2.8 Litre diesel engine. The typical diesel in an L400 is the 4M40. In the L300 (Starwagon) the diesel engine is the 4D56 (Mitsubishi Astron). Wikipedia has information on these.

Did you catch what colour the L400 was?

There's a community in this club, to be sure ~ but there are also many members who just lurk and have never posted. When you think about it, we have 6,528 members at the time this was posted. Maybe (high end) 200 actively communicate on a relatively regular basis? Less than 100 on a constant basis. I would say that if the Delica that you see has been noticeably modified then there is a good chance that the driver is a member. Typically, there are surges in membership, some members are ephemeral, some are more serious. The most we have had on line at one time to date was 129 on the 28th of May, 2011.
