I just got all inner/outer CV boots from Mardy at AmazingAuto. I bet he's got what you need or any of the other vendors... Good luck!

You can buy full CV setups with boots for a 1995 3.5 Litre Montero in the US for about $90 USD or less. Since you have to remove the whole arm anyways, why not replace it all?

It would be nice if there was a supplier other than all the way in BC for some of the common wear parts. Has anyone successfully sourced a partnumber set for CV boots for the L400 where the supply is available anywhere in Canada.

Feels like a monopoly in BC on Delica parts....I'm just saying. 8-)

So the Monty cv shafts fit? Thats good news. Rock auto lists both shafts for $40 per. shipping probably doubles that, but... <obama> not bad </obama>

So i have done some snooping on the USA Napa website and found the following info for the 3.5L equipped Montero relative to CV parts.

CV BOOTS http://m.napaonline.com/Tablet/parts/Pr ... k=Category

CV AXLES http://m.napaonline.com/Tablet/parts/Pr ... k=Category

Can anyone on this forum confirm 100%, total confidence, that the 3.5L Montero CV parts do in fact fit the 2.8L equipped Spacegear. I ask because my local Mitsu Dealer can get OE parts for Monteros, Pajeros and Delis but the part numbers are all different....and they charge 100.00 for a single CV boot which sucks!

One thing is 100%

On the L400/Spacegear hub, the inner shaft bearing is different (larger) than the Pajero/Montero/L300.

The outer shaft bearing is the same.

That's why the rotors are different.

Proprietary to the L400. Not sure why they did it that way.

Jesse: The CV's outer stub shaft dimensional differences is an interesting point that we all should be made aware of so good timing.

But what about the cv boots? Inners boot numbers I posted are probably okay, outers....not so sure now.

So is it possible to buy complete cv joints in Canada or not

I would say yes, but that means from the BC or Ont JDM importers who have the supplier source figured out. You could get a pair from a wrecked L400 that RSI or Amazing and rebuild them like I am with the ones I scooped from Pick N Pull last month.

Yeah, drive train is already gone and I didn't take it but I know who did and he wants to sell it.

I have the cv axles along with several parts that survived the crash from the rear end collision. Poor L400....such a shame...it might be there still but I haven't been there in 3 weeks. Might have been crushed by now but still worth looking if you need smaller bits and clips.
