I was quoted $1000 to do the IP seal on my L400. Can anyone tell me if that sounds reasonable.(they said it would only take 1 day). I wish I could make $1000 in one day!

assuming it took all day and they had a high shop rate of $100/hr or still wouldn't come to that much. It sounds like a ripoff and if so they should have said it would take 2 days so at least it would seem reasonable.
That said, I have no idea what the process is for replacing the seal, seems like parts would be minimal though.
