Rear Window Washer Reservoir

Hi and thanks for any help.
Seems like the rear reservoir in my L400 has sprung a leak. I took a quick look to see if I could remove it and patch it, but for whatever reason I could not figure out how it is attached (the light wasn't so good).
Anyway, anyone ever take theirs out? Any help appreciated.

I have not taken mine out - but you should be able to access it by removing the interior body panel in the back. Usually they are just hanging on hooks, or maybe screws. Really easy to do once you see what it looks like with the panel removed. You should be able to patch it with shoe goo or similar. Although if it is in really bad shape you may wish to replace it altogether.

Hey Thanks Mr F,
Yea I had the access panel off and was looking for clips and fasteners and could really not tell how it has being held in there with the light I had.
I was thinking that it was maybe one of those "just yank it out" types, but before I did any yanking I thought I might ask if there is some hidden secret about getting it out first.

Ok, so I had a chance to take a look at this and if anyone needs to know the tank is held to the body by simply sliding the tank itself over a bracket. Gravity pretty much hold it in.
Just pull straight up and it comes out easily. Seems the tube came off the pump outlet, so a pretty quick fix (the tube was stretched so I cut a new end and shoved it on).

Sorry, no pictures. But it is really simple as there are no fasteners or latches to figure out. Just grab it (after you unhook the filler and breather lines) and pull straight up (then you can unhook the output line and electric connection).
The tank is constructed with a slot in back that mates to the bracket. I really love how mitsubishi makes these things easy to work on.
