Coolan/Antifreeze

I'm going to have my mechanic here in Peterborough put in a new thermostat I purchased from Rising Sun. We were wondering if there's a specific type of coolant recommended for these vans?? He's a VW mechanic & if you used the wrong coolant in some of the Vanagons, it was bad karma if you know what I'm saying??

Anyway I have a '93 L300 Super Exceed Diesel Auto. Any advice on the coolant is appreciated.

Cheers

Most people recommend the green Dodge Mopar antifreeze w/ a 60/40 ratio. I used a 50/50 ratio as Victoria is a pretty mild climate.

Anyway, go to a parts counter at any dodge dealership and they'll have some.

I know of no specific restrictions or recommendations for the coolant on a 4D56T Delica. We ran a fleet of them and just used whatever glycol-based coolant was available, never had any issues.
