Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hi to all! Been lurking on here for 6 years.

Since I still can't bring a Delica into the US, I did the next best thing and found an 1987 2wd Mitsubishi Van (Vanwagon??)

The inner speedometer cable is missing, old owner said the cable came loose on the trans and it fell out.

I tried to order at the dealer and online, I found the part # mb434288 and tried to order but they keep canceling the order saying it is no longer available.

I was wondering if anyone knew if any other cars used the same 2wd trans or speedometer?

Or any other ideas?

I would think one from a 4x4 delica would work (trans is the same, it will be longer if anything if it comes off the transfer case too snowy and dark for me to look tonight)

lots of dealers on here wrecking them for parts..

Also custom ones can be made if needed call around to local hotrod shops...
