Benmar heater vs Espar/Webasto

I just found a "Benmar" diesel heater on Craigslist. Apparently it is similar to a Happ Heater as well.

I noticed a few of these things around, and they seem less expensive than an Espar Hydronic by a large margin.

Are these things any good? Would they work in a Delica? How safe are they compared to an Espar/Webasto?

The one I saw was 12 Volt, with "7-Pins", 15,000 BTU and included a fuel pump as a separate add on.

How will I figure out how to hook it up? I can't find any information about this kind of heater....

On further thought, I think I am going to go with something like a Webasto Ts-17. That, or an inexpensive Espar if one shows up.

On doing some digging, the Webasto can be had for about $700 with the full kit. This includes all the wiring and instructions. It also includes the timer and has the option of adding a remote start function. While this heater on Craigslist is a good price, it does not come with all the added stuff that would be required to make it work, and that makes for a significant cost differential. :(
