How to fix your broken cup holder, and almost anything else.

Post by glenn »

I got some of this sugru for christmas. It is exactly as you see in the video below, in little foil packets and ready to use (Don't let Mr hipster put you off). It may seem a little expensive, but I fixed my cupholder, and that alone made it worthwhile. I used yellow, because I wanted to highlight the fix, but if you used black, you would hardly see it. I also made a little yellow cap for my broken parking pole. I also used it to fix a knife handle. There are a million uses for this stuff. I will always have some of this with me any time I travel.

Very cool. And the advert was funny, too.

HI Glenn, wow, what wonderful stuff...and she won 2012 inventor of the year for it. Love the video. You can mold it to replace any shape, and it sticks to everything, cures at room temp, waterproof.

It ought to be in every delica. Replace that switch cover (just mold it from another switch), connect that headlight bulb so it doesnt rattle loose, stop that rattling rear door, fix that dash guage pod. I bet it would cure the L300 rain leak above the front windscreen (and it comes in various colours). I might try to mold it into the front side window to give more guidance when winding up the window glass. And maybe even use it to replace the broken little bitty thingy in the combo switch. hmmmm.

And as for my whtewater canoes .... well I will never fear a sharp rock in a river rapid.
Thanks for posting it.
Christine.
