Hub screw: how important is it?

This may be just a stupid question, but "How important is it to have both of the centre hub screws?"

One screw was totally stuck, and I had to drill it out. Thought I had a spare, but dont.
Logic would dictate that its important, cause thats the way they designed it.
but on the other hand, I've seen several rotors/hub assemblies that have surprisingly little holding them together.

Here is the little bugger:

On second thought- don't dignify this post with a response. I shouldn't be so impatient and should just go to crappy tire and get a 6mm bolt.

I hate those philips screws they use. Dam things need an impact driver to get em out most times or they get chewed up in the process. Good choice going with a bolt.

And you obviously figured out they are both important.

Cheers!

All done and dusted. Feeling pretty happy with myself.
Next up, the rear rotors.
