HD springs and shocks

Wondering if anyone has installed some HD springs for lifting purposes? I'm planning on getting some from RMI but I've seen that you can use LandRover front springs and get the same results. Anyone had any luck? I'm also looking for part #'s for some pro comp shocks to go along with the 2" lift. I've searched and searched the threads and I find lots of numbers but it doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for... If anyone is running some Pro Comps or any other aftermarket shock with a lift some insight would be great!!

I ended up going with HD springs from CCA and first air bags, then removed the bags and just put 2" spacers in. Feel free to PM me if you want more detailed info.

Verified !

The Landy springs part # RFR-20HD - do work and give a solid 2 inches of rear lift on a LWB L400. Only mod required is to cut an file down to shape on end which take 10 mins or so.

I'm not super impressed with the Procomp 915515 & 921520 shocks on the 2'' lift. I'd like no body roll in tight conditions. Nothing unsafe but I expect near perfection from whatever I use.

I just installed the lift kit a week ago and will monitor the shocks for a while.

If you are looking for little to no body roll on an L400, shocks are not the answer. Up rated HD springs and HD torsion bars is what you'd be after.

The cheap work around is to toss in a pair of airbags in the rear without the supplied puck spacers. When you inflate them, they won't raise the van. Just make the rear stiffer - less body roll

How is this working for you, TLGF? How is the body roll?

When I wrote that post I hadn't installed my new torsion bars. New torsion bars tightened up the suspension and the shocks worked fine till I lost the nitrogen charge in -15C weather.

Anyone got a brand or part number for bags in the back? I'd like a two inch lift on the van, and I'd like bags as I'm going to have an enduro on the hitch for most of the summer so there's an extra 300lbs alone.

Part numbers and source for hd torsion bars?

What else do I need to do to the front for a 2 inch lift?
