Glowplugs from Australia

This would qualify as "beef" with the site where I purchased glowplugs a few months back. Company: Glowplugs Australia - DO NOT BUY! Here's the site: http://www.glowplugs.com.au/mazda-tara.htm (scroll down for the Mitsubishi glow plugs) and I would suggest, don't buy from them. Besides the fact that they've sent me plugs that burned at the first start (they wouldn't budge the following day, so I tested them and they were goners) whey would not refund me my money. They wanted me to send the back the burned plugs (on my expense) and they would refund me money or send me other ones. The thing is I paid via PayPal and PayPal has a policy in which you can open a dispute and deal with them like this. The problem was that the time is too short for allowing the shipment to get to Australia and the PayPal dispute would expire before they got the broken merchandise back. In either case I would not have enough time to claim anything and I wouldn't trust them with sending me new ones.

Story short I lost all money spent with this company.
Do not buy.

Are you sure you don't have a problem with your glow plug system? While I have never bought glow plugs from this company, nor can I comment on the quality of their product, I can say that if 4 glow plugs burnt out on the first shot, I would put money on there being a problem with the system, not the glow plugs. Poor quality plugs will burn out prematurely, one at a time, not all at once. I would suggest having the system checked by a qualified person before putting any make of glow plugs in it. Not to discredit you, but as a mechanic, I would not expect a parts supplier to warranty 4 glow plugs that failed on the first try, while it's not impossible, it is improbable that the plugs were faulty. If you can provide them with proof that the system has been checked by a qualified person, and everything is fine, then you would be inline having a beef if they were not willing to work with you. What they are offering sounds more than fair to me considering chances are the plugs weren't faulty. It sounds to me like they are standing behind their product. You not wanting to take them up on the offer is no reason to complain about the company. Sorry, but with the information provided, I would side with the company, and kudo's to them for trying to resolve the situation.

Thanks for the input Jason. I have since bought new Bosch plugs and they work like charm. Nothing wrong with the system.
I still think they either sent me the wrong part or cheaply made plugs. The fact that shipping take so long makes it difficult to solve issues in a timely manner. That was the reason I couldn't afford to give them another crack at sending me another set plugs.
Still negative experience from my part. I'd stick to avoiding them.

I've found PayPal quite understanding with disputes of this nature, I would still follow up with the complaint....

I've been trying to call the company in Australia for a few days now. No answer, no answering machine. Definitely stay away from Glowplugs Australia. The website's last update is from 7 years ago. Should have looked more carefully. Hopefully this will show up in search results.
