Not sure if Im going crazy, but I cant seem to re-install my middle seats, the swivelling, sliding ones. They were perfect before, now I cant get them to lock in, is there some small thing Im missing here? I've got the guides in the rails, and tried bolting down a few times now. Argh.
Any help very apprectiated.

Hey there, just got my van and it isn't even on the road yet, but I happen to be playing with one of the mid-row seats because it wasn't locking either.
It's really tricky to get running back in the tracks properly, but if you have some grease I'd add a bit to each side to help, the steel tube needs to get up through the seat as well, and in the end I slacked off the nut at the bottom as much as I thought safe to allow the spring to push that locking bar down farther. Also makes sure there's no obstructions anywhere, the lever/arms are all working as should, blah blah blah. Hope this helps.

It is a pain to get both black guide forks to line up while sliding over the 4 pedestal studs. The easiest way is to angle the seat so two of the studs (front or back) are in the seat pedestal, then align the forks with the floor rail slots, then slowly
lower the seat down while pulling up the middle seat adjuster (for/aft adjust lever) The black fork anchor needs to be aligned into the floor rail slots before the remaining studs for the seat will allow you to do them up. Do not make the mistake of adjusting any of the under seat linkages, they are not the problem.
....tough to explain, let me know if I should explain further.

Oh you bet more explanation is definitely needed. I can get it so the black forks are in the rails, the bolts lined up, then as soon as i bolt the seat down, the lever which allows you to slide the seats pops up, and the seats just slide up and down- no locking. I've done the whole thing about 25 times....quite difficult given the seats weigh about 300 lbs each and the car alarm the previous owner installed keeps going off.
BTW does anyone know where to get a car alarm de-activated?

Bionic by middle seat adjuster you mean the <- -> one that allows you to slide the seat back and forward right?

...glad you finally got it. The middle for/aft adjuster handle popping up was letting you know that the fork was not seated properly in the sliders. It always takes a few tries, and your right, those seats are not light....

Now I haven't had my Delica for very long, so I'm no expert on the subject by any means..... However, when I take my middle seats out, I just undo the bolts and lift the rails and everything out. I have a bit that fits in my impact driver, and a quick whirrrr and they are out. Takes about 2 min to take out or put in a seats, so about 5 min to do both, maybe not even that long.
Is there any reason why this isn't a better way than trying to take the seat off the rails? I just put the bolts back in the holes so they don't get misplaced, and they are easy to find when I need them.

I take my seats out fairly often and have never had any trouble removing them from the rails and re-installing (apart from the weight).

Not trying to brag, I just think something might be amiss. It should be as simple as lining up 4 holes and tightening the bolts.
