Good bye and thank you

Well, our 93 Delica was passed off to its new owner today. We bought the van in 08 mainly for my SO. Since her passing, I have hardly driven it. Too many memories. Fortunately Deb's son wanted it. He picked it up today and started the journey back to Whitehorse. Those of you in the Yukon might keep an eye out for a white L300 with top box and ladder. Introduce yourself to Jayden. I think he would appreciate it. I strongly encouraged him to sigh up to Delica.ca and I hope he does.

I want to sincerely thank the members. I know I haven't contributed nearly as much as I have received from the forum, but over the years the knowledge and advice from people here has been invaluable in keeping the van running and looking good. And, of course, the odd spirited discussion was great.

This forum is truly a great resource and asset to JDM owners in Canada and I hope that it continues for a long, long time. Good luck in the future.

So thank you again.

Take care and drive safe.

Rod

Take care - drop in for an argument now and again. By the way, I am trying to plan a visit up to the tar sands this summer thanks to your suggestion. I do want to see it for myself - so thanks!

Wow. Dr Rod, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, perhaps a different wagon will be better for you. I hope you stop by from time to time to embellish us with your observations, as you have in the past. Glad to hear that your wagon has gone to a good home and I extend my warmest greetings to Jayden and welcome him to the cult!

There are getting to be a few members up in the territories, perhaps it's time to open a new events page for the North Of 60 crowd.

Remember that you are welcome here... happy trails, smiles.

Falco.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I can't imagine what a difficult time it must be. I wish you all the best and that you have friends and family that can help keep your spirits up - if not then feel free to come back to your extended family here. I am glad I decided to log in today, take care, Peter
