Manufacturer - Zero Start
Model number - TMR310-0101 400 watt
Cost locally in Calgary was $38.00 from an Auto Value
Made for a CAT Diesel engine

Take the center or furthest back frost plug (core plug) out from the passenger side of the 4M40 block (I used the center one directly behind the injection system) as it is 50mm and do not remove the smaller size 40mm one on the drivers side.

Hi there

Just wanted to follow up and see if folks have had good experiences with the Zero Start unit noted in the original post. (I'm thinking of upgrading the inline coolant heater on my L400 and am considering this Zero Start model.)

Thanks ...

I couldn't find this number anywhere. It came up in the depths of Temro's catalogue, but apart from that no parts store I called could even find that number let alone availability.

I found the zero start 3100071 heater is the right diameter and depth and was readily available.

Check out the Pajero section for a little install guide I typed up.
