Heading down to the coast in early July for a bit and hoping to do some camping. Looking for recommendations for a good rec site/camping spot in the Squamish/Whistler/Pemberton area. Preferably somewhere quiet with a nice view and good for a tent.
Thanks,
Colin

There used to be some great spots on lillooet lake just past pemberton. Go thru the first nations band land towards the east side of the lake. Like a forestry campsite right on the lake.

Birkenhead lake just past pemberton is pretty nice. Lots of car camping spots, a nice beach, short hikes around the lake. It can get a little windy though, so sometimes chilly. I went out of season so it was dead quiet. Looks like it could get busy by the amount of sites.
Elaho valley is very nice though!
If you have a backroads mapbook, look for Sloquet hotsprings east of Lilooet. Haven't been there my self but hear lots of good things. You can plan a loop back to the fraser valley via West Harrison FSR. Total drive for the loop is around 6hrs if the roads are good. All mild FSR unless there is still snow.
