Delica L400 thermosthat 76.5 Right Parts to used

Post by MardyDelica »

have been notice 2 month now some L400 has 82 degree thermosthat install and that create problem.
overheating the most L400.
pls be aware that Original Delica L400 used only 76.5 degree thermosthat either original Mitsubishi or replacement japan parts
on your L400.
if you used 82 degree as I see some people used it. beware that you might end up of having problem with your cooling system and
eventually overheated your car and will need to replace your cylinder head.
82 degree used in pajero 4m40 not delica L400 4m40 engine.
even they are the same engine manufacturer they don't recommend 82 degree.
they have reason why they put lower temperature thermosthat for the L400 than the pajero 2.8 liter engine.
stick with the original or replacement parts and right thermosthat for your L400 to avoid costly repair on your cylinder head.
hot summer is coming pls don't make yourself spend lots of money for the parts that is not right for this vehicle.
cheers:
