I needed an air filter unit for my L300; called Jason from ManitobaDeli and told he would send it that same day, on a Friday ... that was about 3 weeks ago. After waiting until Wednesday of the next week with no reply to texts or phone calls I gave up waiting and ordered it from Coombs the next Thursday. Got it the next Friday; did not have the top air hose (my fault, never had the original parts so did not know what I was missing).
Talked to Graham last Friday, got the other parts yesterday. Kudos & Bouquets to Graham & Coombs
Still have not heard from Jason. Also called D & D in Prince Albert. Have not heard back from him either. Not cool.

I'm surprised he told you he'd send one. Jason is a mobile mechanic for the prairies, not a dealer. He does often have parts from his parts Delica's though.

He has at least one Delica he has sold me parts from before; I was out there twice and he got some parts off it for me.

DnD doesn't really exist any longer. Sold the place to another. Never had great service there.

Same here. But I did talk to the guy and he told me he had the parts, and would phone me back that day or the next. Never heard from him again.

To be fair, ManitobaDeli is working crazyass hours and is not getting a lot of sleep these days, I heard the last time I got an answer from him. He is healthy, 'though, last I heard.

I can understand if he is busy, fine. But don't say you are going to do something if you don't have the time; or take 20 seconds to email/text that it did not happen.
Last time I got a part from him it took 5 weeks; that is why I did not wait this time.

I'm guilty of the same thing. Sometimes life gets in the way and I've overlooked something that I said I would do. It doesn't feel good when it happens and I try my best to answer all bases but sometimes it happens anyway.
You're right though, he probably shouldn't have taken it on with his schedule, life occurs, eh?... smiles. I'm glad you got your filter element, CCAutos is good for shipping parts.
Falco.

Jason is one of those really really nice guys who takes on a lot and looks at the good in everyone. That being said he has just had knee surgery which wasn't kind to him and he's on the go a lot. He probably shouldn't have taken it on when its easy to simply get them in town (cross reference) or order them from bc.

I agree, I have taken my Delica out to him twice; the first time he even brought it back to me. Personally, he's a really knowledgeable and helpful guy. I was just disappointed the last 2 times dealing with him. I understand if he is busy, but just let me know. I'm just trying to support a small business.
