Here's a thought that will likely factor into my forthcoming Deli acquisition...

How much can I expect to fork out annually/monthly for coverage here in BC, specifically on the Island (Comox), including collision etc. for a Series II L400? I have an accident/violation free record of many years.

you need you claim record for the past 5 years (might be different now) from your onterrible insurance...

the L300 with full coverage 3 million road star ect,,,in Naniamo was around 1100/year (that includes plates L400 should be around the same)

My insurance went way down when I sold the '99 Cadillac and got the Delica. And I could afford full coverage and am still paying less than before.

And I still think it's wrong for ICBC TO BE having the monopoly in BC.

It is better than private insurance.....

Private insurance would be the end of RHD.... (and affordable insurance on anything unique)

From the sounds of it, I'll be paying far less for insurance on my Deli here than I was for my decrepit Chev Astro back in Ontario. Government run insurance is doing summat right. Privately run insurance is run like a cartel, and a racket. At least here, everyone's on a level playing field.
