So I was digging around and finally found the tire iron and jack (a nice little bottle jack at that) and also noticed that it includes a few extra items from your average car tool kit. I was just wondering what mitsubishi's intended quick roadside fix was for each tool included or maybe they just like to be a little bit more prepared.

I can guess what the tire iron, jack and jack handle were intended for. But what is the straight thing with a curve at the end and what seems a flat headed screw driver on the end of that and what do the wrenches fit? Are they the only two wrenches I will ever need to fix my delica :-D ?

a 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm will take apart lots of stuff on a Delica (or any Japanese)...

a small metric socket set and a few open end wrenches goes a long way....

The bendy thing with flat end is to pry off the hub cap when you need to change a tire - works like a charm :-D

The curved / screwdriver works for taking the center caps off.

Open tailgate; look down to the left, inside the left side tail lamp and you'll see a small door with a knob; turn said knob and open the little door. This is where the jack and tools should be located but have a small tyre iron on hand just in case a Capuchin monkey suddenly leaps out. :?
It's good to be equipped.

Falco.

Hello all,

So I have been looking in my new (to me) Delica and it appears that the previous Owner has decided to keep the tool kit. I would like to have a working set of tools for any emergency roadside repairs such as a tire change.

Already have:
- "cross type" tire iron with one end as a pry bar
- 4 ton bottle jack (motomaster)
- adjustable pliers and small metric socket set

Need to get:
- metric wrench set with ratcheting box ends
- Screw driver of some sort?
- Wood blocks for lifting the jack (Falco I think I saw your post on this...)

I am attempting to match the OEM set in the picture above... Additional suggestions are appreciated!!

Cheers,
MC
