Hey guys,

so I'm driving out of town for work and I stop 3 hrs from home at a & w and I notice after parking it for 5 minutes I noticed a good amount of coolant leaking down around the driver side engine mount. To investigate I pulled off the turbo intake hose, the PS pump, and belly pan. I checked the water pump, thermostat, water pump, and rad/hoses. And no leak found! I did however notice coolant on top of the oil filter that looks like it has dropped on to it.

does anyone have any ideas where it could be coming from? I'm hoping I don't hear the dreaded head gasket woes...

also its a 92 diesel l300

There's the coolant drain plug in the engine block that fits your description. It's located just above and behind the oil filter.

Thanks for the reply. Is it the large one that faces up?

I think it's a 17mm bolt. I did a write-up on doing a coolant flush in which I describe the location in this thread. I hope this helps you out... smiles.

Well it doesn't look like it is leaking from there. I'll get it pressure tested this week to get a better look
thanks for the help!
