Driving along today when I heard a sound from from the driver's side back wheel area that sounded like I had a blowout. Got out to look and saw that there was a piece of round rod that had broken in half.
Has anyone experienced this? Are these easy to repair and/or are they necessary...the van seems to be okay driving.

Re: Sway bar/torsion bar
I had an experience like that but with my forward sway bar links, both of them went one after another whilst driving on the east side of Lillooet Lake. The only thing that really stood out to me was when I acquired the new links I noticed that they were a heck of a lot beefier than the ones that broke on my Starwagon. I think someone put the wrong links on my wagon at one point.
