Should be way higher, but it was never properly sold here, so the awesomeness maybe isn't as known as it should be.

That's great. Funny how the editor's know that they "don't like the highway". Maybe someone inside owns one?

What year is the one in the picture? Anyone know?

What they liked were the hot rod muscle car vans, not really utility ones. Plus, are there really that many awesome, unusual vans out there? I haven't seen many, certainly not stock.

Yeah. Most of those other vans are one-offs, specials or toys. The Delica is real. :)

A friend of mine had a previa once. To this day he swears it was the best vehicle he ever owned, it never died, until his sister totaled it that is. He still misses it to this day

Best is so . . . subjective. How can the vw type 2 not be on the list? The sycro was more a niche vehicle, the type 2 was a world icon. And a Greenbiar? A totally forgotten short production run vehicle. It is actually kind of strange that the Delica even made it on to this bizarre list without looking like this:

Maybe... but no!
I wasn't going to point out that it's the 300 that got the nod, an older one at that, even if it is 10th place...

Perhaps the people that put this list together have never seen the likes of the Dalek...

10th place is still making the list. As robbieg pointed out, the rest are all either one-offs, specials, or toys, with the possible exception of the Citroen and the Plymouth Turbo V-Gers.

Thinks of the large number of van models that didn't make the list. We may be only tenth, but *we rate*!

I also like that someone in the comments has mentioned the Delica culture here in BC and especially on VanIsle, with a nod to Five Star (and, by extension, CCA).
