Got it off a member for a very good price (thanks, dude!) Feels like driving a go-cart now, it's so tiny.

And that my friends is where the temp gauge should sit.
I tried a wheel about that size but felt it was too small, bit weird at 50-60mph. A 14.5" though felt a lot better, the stock was too big really, left me stretching for the corners.

It is small, but I suspect I'll get used to it. If I can adapt to right hand drive I can adapt to a wheel a little smaller.

FYI, the MIstubishi Montero kit fits the Delica L300.
I first had the temp gauge down below in the dash, but I moved it up so it's more visible when driving. I didn't like having to constantly look down when climbing a hill on the hwy.

What is this switch circled in red? I've had my delica for over 5 years, but mine has an aftermarket fog light switch there. Just wondering what was there originally.

Apparently manufacturers choose steering wheel sizes based on the minimum required to steer the car if the power steering fails.
Same with brakes; they're designed to be hard, but still stop the car without power assist.
You might want to test your steering, rolling down a gentle hill with the engine off, just to satisfy yourself you haven't modded inappropriately.

Interesting. Now I wonder who they use to determine strength required to turn wheel? Me, or my granny? it's a good point, but I don't have trouble turning the wheel even with vehicle stationary and engine off. You gotta heave, sure, but that was the same with my old VW westy with non-power steering.

Delica steering is pretty heavy with no assist. Same I expect with brakes. If we calculate for worse case scenario then thats little women not big ugly brutes like us lol.

Big ugly brutes? I take exception to that moniker. I consider myself svelte and terribly refined. I daresay, there are even moments when I find a pinky unconsciously raised.

Meh, if you've considered it and it seems fine, it probably is. If you're ever in a situation where it becomes an issue, the adrenaline will boost your strength 20% anyway.
Main thing is that you understand what's going on, so you're not adding confusion to an already difficult situation.
Say, while we're talking about steering wheels, anybody know where I can get the old-style, lace-up leather steering wheel covers? Every store has got those god-awful rubber ones. Lordco had some NOS, and I ordered a black one, but all they had left was tan coloured.

Looks like the engine shut off timer switch is the one circled...
The stock fog light is second from right it appears to me.

Good luck on that' it's like looking for bell-bottom jeans or platform shoes. The styles have changed and I haven't been able to find one. I always liked the look. Maybe ebay?

Nope, don't have one of those. The other switch is rear heater fan.

Got one for the civic recently too. Classic lace up leather wheel covers. Love em.
And here's a fresh link if the one in the old post is stale.
