L300 Alternator wiring: Photos needed

Hi Fellow Deli lovers,
I've just ordered a rebuilt Hyundai Starex alternator (110 amp) for my later model (93') L300 which supposedly just bolts right on. (I'll keep you posted in a couple weeks when it comes from Korea / it just came! It looks so cool by the way).
Edit: price was $120 + $70 (US + shipping)
3730042360 Alternator for HYUNDAI STAREX 110A, Remanufactured Genuine Parts
I've read from our British friends that they recommend the following for this because it is an obviously higher amp system:
"1. Replace the main supply cable,
2. Replace the earth (ground) connection with bigger (higher resistance) wires because you will be using a higher capacity alternator."

Would someone be so kind as to provide me photos / diagrams of 1 and 2 -- this so I'll know what to look for. Part numbers, or similar ideas along these lines are also welcome of course.
(Welcome as well are are laconic comments about this act of blasphemy, ignorance, etc.).
Thanks so much
Peace and sunshine,
NewDeli

the best way is ask the supplier of your Hyundai starex alternator which wire you can used to match the Mitsubishi one wiring.
cheers

Thanks Mardy! (as usual)
Can you upload a couple of snapshots of these two wirings?
(I'm not so sure I'll be able to get the wiring request met through Korea!)
Best!

Thanks again M!
What I meant was, can you provide me with some snapshots for the wiring for the regular alternator in terms of 1 and 2 (if you have the time)! It would be a great service to all of us I imagine!
Best

I'm thinking what Marty meant was that if you are going to bypass him to save a few bucks elsewhere, than you can't really expect him to waste his time crawling around taking pictures for you.

Except Mardy already offered some help.
Funny how that works..

"I'm thinking what Marty meant was that if you are going to bypass him to save a few bucks elsewhere, than you can't really expect him to waste his time crawling around taking pictures for you."
That's a valid point.
As I think about that, I imagine on the Delica forum we come here for different reasons.
Philosophically, maybe the camps are as follows (and maybe there are more):
Camp 1) I'll help you with as much information as i've got just 'cause (maybe cause it feels good; it makes the whole Delica world go around (Deli-Karma?);it helps for the good will of future business; or what ever!).
Camp 2) I want to establish a business model that is based on my holding onto and releasing limited information and I'll help accordingly.
I'm not judging either perspective; at the moment, I find myself in Camp 1 appreciating those in Camp 2.
By the way, when I have spoken to Mardy in person, he's never been shy about advice; I just haven't got time at the moment to get to his shop. And I have bought from him (and will do so in the future).
And it would wrong for me to speak for Mardy; he's a great guy to speak with and I'm sure he's got his own thoughts.
Peace out!

Happy Update Alternator L300 Starex Alternator Install

A happy update.
My mechanic put in heavy gauge wire (but he couldn't communicate to me if it was 95mm ish). In an event, oh my god, my Deli starts up instantly (that is after the glow plug click). What a difference.
My next puzzle is to think about changing the main fuse. Location? other thoughts on that. (I know that Fostlongstrider from the really cool UK Deli site (
www.mdocuk.co.uk/forum) wrote that the 'with 110amp I should be ok with the OEM fuse since it rarely get 110 amps flowing). Still if it was an easy swap, I'd up it.
In any event, good tidings and riding to all and if any one has thoughts (and pictures please of changing the main fuse, let us all know. :)
Peace out
