I don't have my van yet, end of Feb early Mar probably.

In the meantime surfing the forums etc. is interesting. I wish I could read Japanese, why didn't they teach Japanese in my high school.
It would have proved useful now.

Anyway, I saw that JAOS and others offer LED lamps to replace the ceiling lights, but I don't remember seeing any for the amber light.

Has anyone replaced that one? Or is it fine the way it is.

I am guessing the amber light is there to help put the kids to sleep during long rides? :-)

It is there for "Sexy Times".... at least that is what I tell my wife. She doesn't believe me.

One thing I did in my Starwagon was install green cellophane gels in the map light lenses. I like green, as it doesn't require my eyes to readjust and it goes with my instrument cluster, but I'm sure that you could find other colours, like amber, as well. Just a thought... smiles.

The central cabin lights are 240v fluorescent tubes run off an old, power hungry inverter.
Here's how to convert them to LED, in whatever colour you like!
