Hello Delica forum :-D

I was happy to come across this forum when I started doing research into Delica's, this is my story.

Recently I lost my 1995 Toyota Sprinter Carib to an accident (no fault of my own), I also owned a 1990 Toyota TownAce Royal Lounge that I meant to camperize.
Unfortunately the greedy ass insurance company is significantly undervaluing my Carib and I had to sell the TownAce to recover some funds.

The TownAce peaked my interest in 4WD MPV's after proving its worth on a trip to the Yukon last October and lucky for me last week I was browsing the auctions in Japan and in Osaka, found the perfect l300 super exceed P35W with crystal lite roof, 100000km (fresh timing belt), no rust, and in the color I wanted (white). The perfect camper/daily driver! I won the bid and my new van is shipping on the 25th.

I'm an automotive tech by trade and am looking forward to camperizing this thing in time for my honeymoon in July! Perhaps you all could offer some wisdom with specifics to check once the van lands here. I'll be replacing all fluids and filters, adjusting headlights and replacing bulbs, changing tires, and doing a full inspection.

Thanks for your help! I'll post some photo's as soon as I get the thing!

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Calgarian.

I don't know much about the L300, as I own an L400 but there are plenty of mechanics manual sections in the tech portion of this forum.

Hi folks....wondering if you all might be able to provide a check list to rid myself of the ABS indicator? I am having a few issues I need to solve to get my royal exceed OOP approved. Any short lists of how you might tackle this one.....where to, what check?
Cheers all....96 Delica Royal Exceed....trying to anyway.

Do you have a flashing green and or yellow indicator on your dashmounted 4WD Super Select system? If you shift into 4wd do the lights stop flashing and the abs light goes out?

If so its probably an indicator sensor on the tranny. These are a pain to get at but doable.

If this is not your case you could have a faulty pickup sensor at one of the hubs and a segment pickup could be damaged.
