Sprucing Up My New L400 - Refinishing bull bar/side steps

Hey all,
I guess this is technically my first post, but Im a long time fan of the site for sure.
I recently picked up a nifty L400 2.4 Petrol in mint shape with 90k and I could wait to spruce it up!
On the list so far was to remove and repaint the trim bars ie. the side steps, rear bar, and bull bar and I figured id post my progress.
For the bull bar, If anyone is wondering, its WAY easier to take the whole assembly off and paint the cover and bar separately. Plus you actually have to take the bull bar off to successfully remove the plastic cover anyway. So far I have removed the bar assembly and separated the cover and painted it in Duplicolor Spray-on truck bedliner and WOW what a nice result. Now I just have to sand and paint the white portions of the bar and Im all done.
All and all its been a great success and I cant wait to get the rest of it back on. Just wanted to post some pics if people are thinking of doing the same thing.
