Oh wise ones......I am looking to change my stock rims with something with a different offset. Are their rims with a compatible bolt pattern/wheel bore (i.e. Toyota ) that will fit a L400 or anybody make wheel spacers that would fit.
Also....somebody sell me their roof rack.
Thanks

The center hole on stock mitsu rims is the largest I have seem for any 6 hole 15 or 16" rim diameter. That being said Toyota rims have been installed with great success. But its not the bolt pattern that causes the grief its the center hole.
Even if you do find a rim that fits and gives the offset you want it may not have enough clearance to fit a center cap to cover the ugly hubs which is also pointless if the center hole won't fit over the hubs.
Nissan trucks and SUV's used to have a plastic wheel cap that was held in place by the wheel nuts, It comes in black and silver and dresses up any rim that uses a standard chrome accorn. It won't work with the shank/washer type wheel nut that most stock mitsu wheels use.
What rims do you have now? Got pics?

I have 16" rims that came with my Delica. I like the 16" rims because they seem to give me nor popular tire options, or more "in Stock" choices. I currently have 225 75R16's on mine.
The problem was I wanted to have a matching spare, so I looked everywhere for a rim that would fit. I found this place in Quebec and the rim fits perfectly and is only about a little different backspacing from what my aftermarket rims currently are.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies!
I've just got the stock Mitsubishi rims that came on the 98 Chamonix, I'll try to get a pic on. When I call tire shops and they ask "what are they going on" and I say "Delica", they are clueless. If Montero Rims are the same then I could say that because they will have it in their computer, because if it's not in their computer as far as they are concerned it doesn't exist.
So...Montero rims would fit?
I hope I am making sense here
Thanks

Montero should work. When L400 Delica owners need parts sometimes parts from the 3.5L Sport model Montero will fit. The logic should apply to rims as well.
I have aluminum modular wheels with a 1" wider offset and then a set of stock Delica 6 spokers. The spacegears do look better with a wide footprint.

I looked you my buddy yesterday and is rim on is Toyota Tacoma seem to be very close to our rim(center hole). I think I will order these rim and if they are not big enough (center hole) I can machine the center and get theme a bit bigger.
I think the center hole is 108mm.

108mm is about right but the problem is the center caps are usually a hair smaller on the ID so they won't fit over the hubs or the rear axle lip. Aftermakrter rims are a pain when it comes to the center caps. Best f you get a center cap that attaches to the outside of the rim itself.
I just bought a used set of steel wheels from a newer Toyota and the center hole needs to be machined/ground down 3/16" all around. Then I am gonna purchase some used Nissan Xterra/Pathfinder 'el-cheap-o' plastic caps that are held in place with the wheel nuts. The caps come in black and silver in 2 different styles. One is for the rear wheel...full cap. The other has an open center so the $WD hub can stick through.

I bought 4 Tacoma 16" rims, checked out the bolt pattern and took them to a shop in Delta. They machined out the centers and now I'm waiting to mount them. Just have to wear out my present tires first.
These 16" rims have a slight offset and will sit further out probably needing flares.
good luck

What did the shop charge to machine the rims?

I installed a spare tire from my friend's Tacoma tonight and it fit perfectly. I think I will find Tacoma's after market rim and order theme. Like you said Big-Bird, with the cap hold with the nut or attache outside.
I have 1" spacer on my deli and want to remove theme and get the same offset with rim only. I tried to figure it out which offset I need but naaa!! Which I need do you think??

did you try the Tacoma wheel with your spacer removed? My Tacoma rims fit over the hub but not the base of the rotor. Which gets a tad wider.
Look up HOW TO MEASURE OFFSET ON RIMS on YouTube. Hard to explain in words, easier with video or pics.

seems like it was $100 for all 4 tires. The original fit was soooo close but just not right.

I asked at my local 10-10 tire shop and they told me the correct offset. If you can't fond out I'll check mine for the correct offset.
