Split bench in an L300, is it possible?

I'd like to replace the rear bench in my L300 with one that flips up against each wall so I have more space to lay out on the floor of my delica.
Has anyone tried a mod like this? Is it possible?

That's exactly what I want. How'd you get the bench? Is it an L400 bench? Was it hard to install? Did you make those brackets yourself?

the pictures are off the uk site, the guy used l400 seats and made up the mounting brackets to suit

That's Mystery Machine and if you sniff through the archives here for 2007 - 2009 or so you'll find his many and very helpful posts. He even came over for a visit once, just before my time. He posted the project above here too. Great idea.
