Well I looked in a few other threads, and my numbers are concerning: did a compression test today using a brand new kit, not done this for about 20 years.
1 = 420
2 = 415
3 = 300 with oil 380
4 = 340 with oil 375
Added tons of oil. may possibly have not put the adapter into the injector hole on 3 properly on the first (non-oil) go. cycled it a number of times to squirt the oil out or whatever, and it read not quite that high on a recheck. Thick diff oil actually I think.
sooo.... bad rings, huh? smokes a bit on acceleration, and is a bit gutless.
All the injectors have an even platinum-grey deposit circle.
Wondering if bad performance likely not a problem with the head. May just need to get a whole recon :-/
Does anyone know, would this white crust indicate a bad glow plug? All the rest of them are shiny clean. Starts fine.
