Hey Fellow Owners,

So here i have a imported Delica Spacegear L400 with e coded headlights but the arrows on the lenses point the wrong way for BC DOT inspections. Can someone please private message me the down low on what is really going on here? I can not find replacement lights or lenses. I have scoured this sight for suppliers or a fix for the problem. I have called auto parts dealers in Germany and several Mitsubishi dealer parts shops with to no avail. I see these Delicas for sale from local importers all the time so where are they getting these from? Seems to be a really well guarded secret. Today i stumbled on two parts shops in Vancouver BC who said "just find a oop inspection shop who will overlook this." Is this my answer? A discrete email from someone with their experience would really help me out. With inspections at $99 a pop its going to get expensive if i have to guess and book appointments until i find a shop that will overlook it. :-(

Thanks so much.

Go talk the guys at Commbs Country Auto...not far from you at all. (just google their name)

They will be able to help you with everything you need. Some shops just don't understand the OOP process for RHD and this causes problems for you the buyer.

Cisco Same message as the PM.

What year and model is your deli? 99 chamonic have a specific shape, different than my 95 exceed so mention your yr and model. I'm on my 3rd delica now, 92, 95 and 99. All three had to be changed.

The lowdown is:
Wrong direction arrow= wrong headlights........
Wrong direction arrows= blinded drivers approaching.....

3 directions of arrows exist, to the left, right and both directions. You need a right hand arrow direction for North America, and nooo it can't be adjusted to face the opposite way.

My 99 chamonix arrived with wrong direction arrows. Werners was fooled when they did the inspection cuz everything else was correct. They discovered the headlights pointed to the wrong side of the road at setup time. Yup you guessed it, I had to buy new headlights (from Mardy at Amazing Auto)

Mardy at Amazing Auto, Glenn at CCA and John Hamilton at Rocky Mtn have headlights but all shops occassionally run out of stock so shop around. Glen is closest and he and his Dad Graham are great to deal with. I spoke with Graham two weeks ago.

good luck
