Major Failure: Please help with Diagnosis

I was heading off to camp yesterday, long trip down the 401 highway. About 2 hrs in I noticed my oil pressure dropping. 20 minutes later, the engine made a big knocking noise and started to run away (as in, I lifted my foot off the pedal, and it kept driving down the highway at 100 kph.

Pulled over to diagnose and I found: lots of diesel in the oil, and lots of diesel/oil coming out of the crank case vent hose and into the intake.

Can this be anything other than a failed fuel pump seal?

I can't help with the diagnoses, but I'll be working in Hannon all week so if you need anything from Right Drive I'm sure I could pick it up for you.

If you have diesel in the oil I would go with pump seal.

Unless you lost oil and compression on a cylinder and had diesel leak down that way, but you would have probably noticed the loss of power.

Pump seal is most likely IMO.
