After some back and forth, it told them the Delica might be similar to the Montero but they had "Montero Sport" and "Montero".
Cost for those: $280
However he told me they don't do welds (

Apparently if they weld anything and something is wrong, they might be liable.
Odd because years ago when we rented a U-Haul trailer for a 1997 Honda Odyssey they welded a hitch to it without hesitating.
This must be like U-Haul refusing to rent trailers to people who own Ford Explorers "because of potential legal costs".
I found some hitches in Japan but they are expensive even without shipping.
e.g. http://www.loft-japan.co.jp/hitchmember ... /g356.html
or
http://www.sun-auto.co.jp/products/line ... ishi-.html
Probably neither of these would ship to North America anyway, the weight must be too high and the cost way too high.
I know someone who has been a welder for 20+ years here, built steel bridges etc., maybe I will ask him.
Of course I could wander into U-Haul but am not sure what I'll get; last time it only took them about 15 minutes to weld a hitch onto my 4-door Odyssey.
As for the front hitch/receiver for a small plough, maybe my friend can help -- Work & Play didn't seem to do anything custom, they just bolt on "kits" they receive from suppliers.
And of course their web sites and software all use the same pre-made drop-down lists for vehicle years / makes / models.
You know the lists... "1994" / "Mitsubishi" / <no useful model exists>.
