Greetings Folks, and Happy New Year!!!
This is just a funny story I thought I'd share with the rest of you folks on here.
So I'm a part time musician and decided I should do a video about me and my music for promotional purposes. I hired a great guy from Peterborough where I live to do the work. He's a car guy like myself and really loves my '93 L300 Mitsu. We decided that as well as filming me playing at a local bar he'd take shots of me driving round in the van while doing an interview. Cool right??
Totally!!!...... So we loaded the van up with a bunch of go pro cameras fixed on both the inside and outside of the van. And he had a little hand held camera to take both photos and videos while we drove around the city. As we were getting great footage on River Road just outside the city limits, we passed by a cop going the other way. He quickly does a U turn and follows me lighting up the cherry's. As I pull over he goes to what would normally be the drivers side and asks us why we think he pulled us over. I do the talking and say, I have no idea. He then looks at my partner saying here you are taking pictures of your buddy with your hands completely off the wheel. He finishes with, don't you think that's a bit dangerous?? I quickly reply, but my hands are on the wheel and I'm not taking any pictures.
Finally he notices...... Then says OMG, I didn't even notice that!!! He apologizes profusely and then inquires about my van and what the filming was all about. We ended up having a lovely conversation about my music career and the future promo video. He apologizes once again for screwing up the film session and we laugh saying, you're Gonna be in it....
Anyway, whatever.... This is how exciting my life is right now. I'm sure this story isn't that exciting but it's all I've got for you today. I love this site and reading others stories on here so I thought I'd contribute one of my own..... Here's to 2015 and lots of great adventures ahead. Keep the cops outta your rear view mirror. It's better that way!!
Cheers everybody!! Phil

I've been honked at, yelled at, flipped the bird at, all because my lady is texting while we drive. The looks on their faces though when we pull next to them and yell back and they realize their mistake is pretty good!

Drove through a police trap, ironically with my Japanese friend totally focused in on his android. I could see that they were wondering how he was making the turn with both his hands off the wheel and how to get his attention to pull him over until they saw me waving at them. They all had a laugh.
