Hi folks,

I am pretty sure my coolant system is airlocked, soI am trying to find the air bleed bolt on the coolant system.
It seems like I am not near smart enough to find it on the deli or with google.
Can someone kindly point me in the right direction.

Much Tks,

If its 4d56 diesel pretty sure it doesn't have a bleed bolt.
I just run the engine with out the rad cap off for 10-20 mins, that should get rid of any air pockets.

X2. When I change out the coolant I run the motor with the rad cap off and watch as the little bubbles pop out of the cap aperture.

Falco.

Thanks folks,
I tired what was suggested, but the temp. just going up and up and up.
I tried a few different times once the engine cooled down, but the same thing happened over and over again.
A buddy told me to pour coolant into the top rad hose down into the block then connect the top rad hose again.
That seemed to do the trick...and the world is a better place again.

stuck thermostat?

I would pull it test it (even if new)..

Also I drill a small hole in all my thermostats when installing to let air through when first getting it running... google it
