Take measurements and go to a Canadian Tire, that's what I did. When I established roughly what I wanted, the manageress came out to the car park with me and we tried them out, they worked, went back inside to settle up and $250 later I had a pair of Thule roof bars for carrying my ladders, the kind that clip into the eaves troughs. Easy to mount and remove when I don't need them (as they create drag and increase fuel consumption). These are the ones I got for my P25W:

Bonjour du Québec :)
From what I know the Chamonix is a high roof, Falco's Delica is low roof. On my Starwagon the legs-support of any roof rack will have to be at least 9 inches to clear the roof. I say that because I have seen the same bars can be adapted with a choice of 3 different height (4?-9-12 inches legs; not sure about values) Search the database I did found some helpful informations on this forum about roof racks. So first get measurements of your roof from the bottom of the gutter. Once you found the right height for your Delica, order it online or at your nearest Thule distributor-dealer. Also, in my case, I may want to add a roof tent so 3 bars (6 legs) maybe a good options if you plan heavy lord on your roof.

Somewhere out there on "Canadian soil" is a vehicle that has the spacial dynamics similar to your wagon. As you can tell from the pictures I posted, the towers can be adjusted on the rail ~ so really ~ what you need to know is how long you want the bar to be and how much clearance you need for your towers to carry the bars above the roof. I didn't go into Canadian Tire and say I need roof bars for a '92 Mitsu Delica, if I did that I'd get the response "sorry, we don't have that model in our computer". You've got to give them a simple riddle to solve and if you manage to get a few involved in this endeavour you can develop the competitive aspect in short order, you know ~ the guy in the back going "pick me, pick me!" I came into Canadian Tire and said that I want some roof bars for a vehicle that is X" wide and have to clear the roof by Y", do you want my money?
