Car Cleanaire removal

Pretty much as the title suggests, I am trying to remove the air purifier to clean it up (hopefully I can find new filters for it) but I haven't had any luck unbolting it from the roof. does anyone have any tips/tricks to help?

I think Mardy has the filter set up. I am sure that he has some good advice to give you.
