I own a 2013 Jetta Sportwagen Manual.

I bought it because of the Diesel Engine, better MPG, much better power, and better environmental impact all around.

So much for that.

My car will likely get recalled and have the software nurtured so it runs in "limp" mode all the time - less MPG, less power, but also less NOx. I won't be able to avoid the recall either, if I try, I won't be able to re-register my car in the future.

And this will tarnish the view of all diesel vehicles - including my L400.

Don't blame VW. Look beyond to global politics. They've been set up ant it's retaliation.
Germany decided to back Putin in Syria and this is payback from the western globalist regime.
Now if they decide to leave EU we're all in for shit storm.

Just buy a used computer only for that software-update then switch back to original after
