Hello From Canmore, Alberta

It has recently gotten cold here and our Delica is giving us a hard time starting. We have a functioning block heater, which helps. I think that it has to do with the fuel line freezing from the condensation in the tank? has anyone had a problem like this before? or any ideas on what to do to help with Cold weather starts. I feel like if this continues my starter might wear out as well as my patients.

Do a search here on the forum for threads on "cold starting" or such. There have been many discussions on how best to start in cold weather.

Mine likes to envelope itself in a cloud of smoke when starting below about -5.

Use full tank diesel and add diesel injector cleaner and drive it for few hundred km, if it is still a problem, clean your injectors and also check your glow plugs.
