Yes I have, but unsure if anyone deals with that old stuff still... Most place I've looked only work on plastic garbage. And my dad is cracked along the top ridge. Has anyone have had their rad recored?

I got one done in my (now dead) 88 Hyundai Excel many moons ago. The recore was superior to the original.

It was done by a small rad shop in Penticton. Given how small Penticton is, you should be able to find a place that can recore yours with all metal.

It's easier and cheaper to recore the old type rads. I did on my L300 and with success.

I"ve recored mine twice already and each time it pooped its pants at the same place... Front right side below the mount... I'm pricing out Rising Auto Import... I'll see. I came across another shop in the UK who build them up all Alumxx. But with shipping and included,,, might as well buy me a nice Victory!!!

I bought a new rad for my L400 from Steven at Rising Sun. I cracked my top tank while doing some belt changes....had this one for 2yrs and been perfect.

Steven has good suppliers and I trust RSI for many of my new and used parts. he usually ships my stuff the next day via canada post or greyhound. I was just at his shop 2 days ago (New Westminster) and stocked up on filters and he lots of Deli parts in stock.

my rad was shipped to me for 50$ I think.....cheap.
