Good day,
I would like to know if anyone knows who in Vancouver area refurbish L300 turbos. I know I could look online and call every mechanics that deals with turbos. All I want is if any one of you have dealt with one of them.
Thank you!

BD diesel, Rotomaster, ADP.....
Wouldn't bother though, for what it will cost you could have bought a brand new turbo. I had mine rebuilt at wholesale cost and a new turbo would still have been the better route.
(granted mine required new wheels, shaft bearings. Not just seals)

Freddy,
Are you in Vancouver now, or on the East Coast?
-Your old buddy in Banff.

Hey Mister! Good to hear from you!
I'm on the East coast. There is a mechanical engineer here that is specialized in refurbishment turbos (balancing and all). I just need to speak with someone that is familiar with our turbos so I can explain the gentlemen what he could do. On one of my extra turbos, I lost the (not sure the actual name) pressure cap on the side. He did patch it but I don't think it will last. I think it needs more engineering then just pushing a piece of 1/8 of an inch metal inside.
Anyway, Monday I will start calling some people around in Vancouver area.
By the way I'm back with PC in NL Gros Morne and L'Anse Aux Meadows. You should come and visit!
