Updates from Calgary

Hello friends.
It's been a while since I've posted. Lots of big changes: first baby, living rural now etc...
But I'm sure your more interested in some Van updates!
Just after baby came Naussica decided that it would be a good time to just shit the bed in the worst possible ways. Injector pump started pissing fuel, the turbo started leaking oil on top of the boost leaks that were already there. Oil leakage from the rocker cover and coolant leaks from the thermostat gasket and water pump o-ring.
So she's been in the shop for the last two months, starting to make decent progress after the holidays and all that and my good friend and I have pulled her all apart! Still in the process but here is the jist of it.
-Rebuilt injector pump and set timing
-Injectors rebuilt and tested
-Replaced all fuel lines
-Rebuilt and resealed turbo
-Replaced all boost hoses and lines, test waste gate for leaks and operation.
-New thermostat gasket and o-ring for water pump
-New rocker cover gasket
-Installed EGR delete kit
-Install EGT and Boost gauges to help with injector pump tuning
-rewire manual glow plug actuator
The future is bright for this van whom I said some very mean things to and threatened to sell for a penny.
This summer I'll be looking at:
-install solar auxiliary system
-revamp camper system (if any carpenters out there want to trade labor hours with a licensed automotive technician please let me know)
-install intercooler
-roller paint!
