Should I raise it an inch?

Hi folks,
I just got the rims and tires replaced on my Delica and now when I make a medium to sharp turn I can hear the tires rubbing undernearth. Should I go to a shop and get the van raised an inch or two? ( I'm guessing that that will get rid of the rubbing) If so, how much should I expect to pay? ( I wonder if I could get the shop I bought the van from to cover the lift for me? They are the ones who installed the rims and tires.)

If you still have the front steps, it could be those rubbing, people upgrading to bigger tires often have to remove them. Also the front suspension is adjustable so make sure the torsion bars are cranked up (and wheels re-aligned) to give maximum clearance.

What size of rims / tires did you put? That should give an idea if the rubbing is to be expected (and to be fixed) or if you have another issue. 235-75R15 is usually used on Delica and should not cause any rubbing.
As for going back to your shop, did they suggest the new rims and tires along with installing them or was it your initiative? If they were initially involved then a trip back to your shop would be your best bet...
Good luck,

I discovered that the rubbing is from the back of the wheel rubing against the mud flap . I should be able to reform the mud flap with a heat gun.

Delicat,
I got the shop I bought the van from to throw in a new set of rims as part of the deal (actually got them to throw in a custom made roof rack to boot!) I'm just about to snap some pics of the beat, stay tuned...

you should not have any problem if you put 15 inch, maybe big size, 31 they put. but if 235/75 /15 never you will have problem, even 30X9.50/15 is also o.k.'
cheers;

stock delica rims are 6" wide, generally they don't recommend much above 29" on 6" rims, if you want to go larger than that then for safety's sake you should get wider rims (6.5" rims are recommended for up to 30" tires which is the largest you can do on a delica without any modifications, 31" with only minor mods)
