How Do I Replace Fog Light Bulb - 1999 L400 Spacegear/Chamonix

Hi there,
I recently bought a 1999 L400 Chamonix from Rising Sun.
The Headlight and white fog light bulbs recently blew on the right hand side (driver's side). Headlight first and then the white fog light).
Steve from Rising Sun sent me what bulbs to buy and pictures of what each fuse if I need them - thanks Steve.
I have bought the bulbs and was able to replace the headlight one. It is working now.
How do I replace the fog light bulb? Do I have to remove the surrounding casing that is screwed on? Two of the screws are worn - not sure I will be able to get them undone. I was able to remove the circle grill that protects the fog light.
I am not a techie so simple speak please!
I'm concerned that the bulbs might continue to keep blowing due to an electrical issue. Steve said that if the bulbs blow out quickly or the fuse does, to delete the DRL module - can someone please explain this? Would that stop the Daytime Running LIghts from working? Would this then make the lights non-compliant?
Thanks
Claire
