Hello guys, I thought I'd have a tread on undercoating solutions since we have such wonderful weather out here in Canada. I've been sandblasting and rust proof power coating my undercarriage since I bought my Delica last March 2014. It's now my second coat and am pretty happy with the results so far. Inexpensive and effective, I use these products for pretty much everything that needs rust proofing.. For less than $50 and a solid 4 hours of fiddling/goofing around I manage to do a complete job! Removing wheels, sand blasting and de-dusting the whole thing really helps with overshadowing and preventing any rust formation from happening. Has anyone been doing a similar process?
I've been using Premium Rubberized RockerGuard Black from CT and Black Asphalt Undercoating...

I don't have access to a sandblasted so I do it farm style. I put a wire brush on my drill and clean it out taking any rust down to metal. I did the whole frame.
I did it when I first got it 3 years ago at that time like Charles I took the tires and skid plates off. That time I used tremclad and a brush. Yup you read that right. Got every nook and cranny. Today I touched it up with spray paint this time. It stood up very well but thought a go over was due as I was taking care of some spotting on the pajero mini (previous owner jacked it on under panel which rusted)

I used a cheap rust coat flat black and the rubberized spray in wheel wells.
Although now I know Charles has a sandblasted i'll drop by this time next year with coffee.
Oh and he didn't paint his drums or calipars so he kind of half assed it.
