Transfer case hanging low?

It seems like my l300s transfer case is abnormally low compared to other delicas, like its the low point on the underside. Seems like others have it more tucked up, like you can barely see it unless you're level with the underside of the car while mines easy to see standing upright. I can get a pic later on. Any ideas?
