Front Blower Low Air Flow

Hello All
My climate control blower fan is working on all speeds. It just seems like there should be more air flow. Is this normal for the L300 or is my blower motor slowly dying? I will try whacking it a few times as suggested in other threads for a stuck fan to see if that speeds it up.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Is the pipe under the steering wheel still connected? I recently had to take my combo switch out and while fishing around the fuse box area, I had to undo the two screws that hold that pipe in place in order to get to the combo switch connector. When I went to reassemble the unit I found that something was in the way. In the end it was not properly in place when I first took it apart. Now I get heat.
Falco.

Thanks for the reply.
I had a look in that area and no disconnected pipes. Are the front and rear fans the same, and if so how easy or difficult are they to swap positions? The rear one seems to be pushing more air.

Just answered my own question,
The front blower motor is P/N: MB439889 and the rear is P/N: MB439316 according to Partsouq. So I guess swapping positions won't work.

I guess it depends on how much air flow you're expecting. The airflow on mine seems about the same as my 2007 Toyota, so I don't think Delica blower fans are particularly underpowered.
Can you confirm that all the air flow/direction levers are working correctly? When set to "face", air should only come out the dashboard vents, with the centre two getting most of the airflow. If the lever was maladjusted (the cable can come loose) it might be diverting some of your airflow to the floor vents.
About the only place for an outright blockage is the aircon evaporator, which is after the fan. Any leaves or crud that make it through the intake would pass through the fan but might get stuck in the evaporator. Another thought: The fresh/recirculate flap (behind the glove box) should have a sheet of foam stuck to it, and I've seen that come loose and clog things up.
if you get really stuck you can remove the glove box, then the blower fan, and if you reach inside you can feel the aircon evaporator core (which may, or may not, have a fine steel mesh in front of it). To dismantle more of the ductwork you need to remove the dashboard, which isn't fun the first time.

Thanks for the reply Growlerbearnz
I finally got back to my blower issue, the wife dragged me down to the Dominican Republic for vacation. All of the flow/direction levers are working correctly. I took apart the ducting behind the glove box and there was no blockage. I then took out the blower motor and fan (that was lots of fun!!!) and reached inside, again no blockage. I partially disassembled the motor and the brushes were fine. I shot a bit of lube down the shaft and re-installed the blower/fan (again, lots of fun!!!). Seems to be working a little better now. Maybe I am expecting more air flow then what the blower/fan can deliver.
